Can I Access The NDIS?

To be eligible for the NDIS you must meet the elibility criteria. Supports and funding are accessible to those with intellectual, physical or mental health conditions, Hopevana will help you through this process.

 

Some factors include

• Under the age of 65

• Be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident, or a New Zealand Citizen that holds a Protected Special Category Visa.

• Have a permanent and/or significant disability that impacts your everyday living and requires help from others to do things, equipment or assistive technology. 

 

Applying for NDIS funding involves contacting the NDIS on 1800 800 110 to request an access form. You may ask them for further guidance on how to proceed after you have completed the form. The form will consist of questions regarding the magnitude of your disability and how it effects your life. Recourses that may help are on the NDIS website.
